No „Hit Better“
Why Your Body Is Smarter Than Your Head
Imagine playing a game where there is no scoreboard. No one tells you: „That was too short“ or „You shot wide.“
That is exactly how instinctive archery begins for girls.
At school, in sports clubs, even when playing with friends: Everywhere, girls are being evaluated. Who is the fastest? Who has the best grades? Who looks the prettiest? The pressure to be „good enough“ creeps in early.
The bow is different.
When you hold a traditional bow, there is no sight telling you where to aim. There is no computer calculating your angle.
There is only you, the bow, and the target.
What you learn here is not aiming. You learn trust.
Your body already knows how to throw, how to grip, how to move. In archery, we activate this ancient knowledge.
If you try to aim with your head, the arrow will tremble.
But if you trust your body, breathe calmly, and simply allow the shot, the arrow flies straight.
Mistakes are not penalties here.
Did you miss the tree stump? Maybe the wind was stronger than you thought. Or your stance was a centimeter too far left. That is not criticism. That is information.
On the next shot, your body corrects it all by itself. Without anyone shouting „Better!“
A Safe Space for Strong Girls
In our courses for girls (from 8 years old), it is not about competition. It is about creating a space where they notice:
✨ I don’t need a loud voice to be strong.
✨ I don’t need muscle power to draw the bow (it’s about technique!).
✨ I am allowed to make mistakes without someone judging me.
Suddenly, a 10-year-old girl no longer stands there thinking: „Am I good enough?“
Instead, she stands there, draws the bow, exhales, and thinks: „I am here. And that is enough.“
And yes – if you find this state, you hit the target too. More and more often. But that is just the beautiful side effect of trusting yourself.
